The day before

Holy multitasking, has my day been busy.

It all started when I scratched my eye while I was washing my face, so my vision has been blurred in my left eye for part of the day and it's secreting junk.

I had to do some more laundry, wipe down the kitchen, lessen the amount of  pet hair left behind,  and sent out a reminder letter to parents that I'll not be tutoring for the better part of October.  I took Reese to the park at 6:30, and shortly after I got home, the car detailrt team came out to get my car spick and span-ready for the trip.

He pulled 4 bags of "stuff" out of my car, plus a 60 lb bag of little league balls that Reese pilfered from the park over the last months.

Then , as I set out to put everything that was in the car away in it's proper place.  (Garage, house, or somewhere else in the car), the tutoring mom's started bombard me with texts and emails and QUESTIONS! I tried to answer each one as I got it so I wouldn't get mixed up later on and forget which ones I'd answered and  which I hadn't.

After juggling that, my doctor's office calls me and tells me my file needs my medicare card (which iI never received).  So I  have to call my insurance broker and get him on that.

Oh, and by the way, the doctor's office needs me to fill out "a form" ( which was three multipage forms) TODAY!  I tell her my circumstances. She doesn't care.

So I end up talking to this little Chinese guy who is supposed to be able to print and email card to me.   Then I wait for about 15 minutes for his collie to get on the phone to lead me through the insurance company's on-line portal.

Bingo.  I email the card- but after I spend about an hour and 15 minutes filling out all their forms, it won't submit them. And it wouldn't tell me why.  Then I got locked out of that insurance site.

It's 4 pm now and I have to go tutor in 1/2 an hour. ( luckily two kids canceled because they got sick today.)  Well, not luckily, but enabling me to finish packing, showering, etc. And try to go to bed at about 6 because I'm leaving for Penny's at 6 in the morning.   I'm going to try and wake up and watch that bombastic vice presidential candidate debate tonight.

I just can't believe the quality of the people that are running this year.

Off to tutor...

The animals know ...
