Settled in Montgomery, Vermont
I forgot that once we get in Northern Vermont we will lose our phone signal. So we had to stop at a school for directions to our little town. Like most places in the country people will tell you something is "just down the road" and it is really 10 miles away. So we went just down the road and turned right and the first house we saw on the left I recognize from the picture on the Airbnb ad. That was our house!
It is really more like a hotel; there are five little apartments in the back of a huge house with two cats in the yard and a pickup truck.
At first, the GPS- while it lasted, took us in circles around this ramshackled area with houses falling over and Penny was terrified! Lol every Trump sign horrified her even more (and we only saw two).
So we went into town, which was a black long, to get some dinner and found out that everything in the whole town is closed on Tuesdays. So we came home and ate French snacks.
All the way down to Vermont we passed Vibrance forests full of a spectrum of
We stopped for breakfast at a little Cafe. Penny had a French breakfast and I had an American one.
Then we happened by an awesome general store.. but it was tuesday..
We pulled over to take this.
Then we stopped at an apple orchard and had lunch.
Crossing the border...
The new place in Vermont was like a ski.lodge.
